Highfield Guesthouse - Skipton

Our stay was perfect for visiting the Christmas market, even if the market itself was a bit underwhelming. The room was cozy with lovely decor, and the breakfast each morning was delightful, featuring options like fried bread. I truly appreciated the tea, coffee, and biscuits that were replenished daily, making our stay feel extra welcoming. The place was just a short stroll into the heart of the town, so we hardly needed to drive anywhere at all.

Nicely decorated unit in the front bedrooms, we truly enjoyed it. The location for Skipton was ideal and nice, just off the reception areas and the stairway areas, castle and woods and a Tesco store and petrol station.

Well-appointed and extremely pleasant unit with a convenient decor. A lot of food for a full English breakfast. Good very central location and knowledgeable staff.

Spent two wonderful nights at Highfield Guesthouse in Skipton. The best part was the breakfast. It was delicious and offered great variety, definitely a highlight of the stay. Debbie, the host, was attentive, always making sure we had enough tea and coffee during our meals. The room was cozy and clean, with a comfortable bed, made for a good night's sleep. The guesthouse is just a short walk from the town center, perfect for exploring the local shops and restaurants. Parking on-site was limited, and finding a space nearby could be tricky at busy times. The room got quite warm at night.

Take advantage of the local street parking options. They are plentiful and convenient, making your arrival and departure easier.

Fantastic location close to the centre. Our double room was beautifully decorated with a relaxing bath. Staff replenished tea, coffee, and homemade jams daily. Breakfast with fried bread was a highlight.

While overall a great experience, I wish the bed was a bit softer for better comfort during the nights.

We spent 2 nights at Highfield Guesthouse and it was just perfect. The breakfast was excellent, and the owner was super friendly. The location was ideal for exploring skipton. We couldn't have asked for a better experience!

My wife says that the stairs can be tricky with little kids.

The hostess was attentive, ensuring that nothing was too much trouble. The room was spacious and beautifully decorated, with a strong shower flow that was a delight. Breakfast offered a great selection, including several cooked options that I thoroughly enjoyed.

The bed was a bit too firm for my liking, which affected my comfort slightly.

One slight downside was the noise from the busy road outside, especially if you like to keep the windows open.

The staff was consistently courteous and accommodating from arrival until we left. Our rooms were spacious with a view of the dales. - Very central location was a plus.

The hotel is absolutely great and lovely, with a central location that is quiet at night. It is very close to bus stations, the town center, and rail links.

The location here is perfect and exceptionally nice, with on-site parking available.
